In response to an alarming increase in trespassers—non-member residents and non-residents—at our lake lot, facilitated by a small number of restricted-key-holding LCERA members, residents are advised of a Trespass Warning Authorization which has been set up with the Belle Isle Police Department. Of necessity, a procedure is now in place to address illegal use and abuse of the LCERA private, members-only lake lot and boat ramp.

The Trespass Warning Authorization is posted in the message box on the street side of the lake lot fence and lists the contact number for LCERA President and Property Manager, Jason Hunter.

When an individual or individuals are suspected to be non-members of the Association and trespassing on the Association’s private property, call the Orange County Dispatch non-emergency phone number at 407-836-4357.

The responding officer will issue Notice of Trespass warning to the offender/offenders. Trespasser will be advised that any further trespass at the lake lot will result in arrest and prosecution by the Residents’ Association.

The Trespass Warning Authorization provides the Belle Isle Police Department the authority to issue a trespass warning to violators at the lake lot even if a member of the LCERA Executive Council cannot be present.
